Who Do You Trust?

The feelings and emotions we have in a given day can really impact us. Our thoughts can determine if our day was considered positive or negative. Many of the thoughts and emotions we have do not come from God. We ourselves know this based on our time understanding who God is and what is from Him.

We can make the mistake of leaning too closely to harmful thoughts and feelings. We allow them to seep into our minds and wreck havoc. Overall, we place a certain trust in them that they are true and valid.

I encourage you today to ask yourself, “Who Do I Trust?”. Are you placing too much trust on your thoughts and feelings instead of God? How can you learn to place your complete trust in God alone?

I believe the ultimate way is to learn to recognize the “still small Voice” of God throughout our day. Listen intently to His voice and drown out the noise of the world.

Remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, on your own intelligence do not rely; In all your way be mindful of Him and He will make straight your paths.”
